Travelers familiar with the Owensboro area should look for the school on the north side of Old Hartford Road, one block from Triplett Street; it is actually at the corner of Pearl Street and Old Hartford Road -- across from a large, empty field. It is a single story building (see picture, below), with white columns in front and a surrounding white fence. There is a small asphalt parking lot in front and ample parking along the side (Pearl Street). Travelers from out of town have a couple of choices: (1) From whatever highway on which you enter Owensboro, take the "bypass" (Wyndall Ford Expressway) to the Hwy 231 exit -- north, or toward Owensboro. This will put you northbound on Breckinridge Street. Turn left onto Old Hartford Road (the intersection has a light and is between a funeral home and cemetary) and watch for The Triplett School on your right. ...or... (2) Get yourself onto Triplett Street (Hwy 231 southbound) and follow it to approximately 22 hundred block, turning left onto Old Hartford Road and almost immediately left into The Triplett School.
