Who is enrolled

Students at Triplett represent a broad range of skill and income levels. While the presence of a tuition fee is a greater barrier for some families than for others, the uniting characteristic of all our parents is a devotion to the best possible preparation for adulthood.

Costs

The cost of educating a child for one year at a "public" school in the United States ranges approximately from $5,000 to over $7,000 per year, depending on the state. The cost of educating a child in a non-public school is approximately half that amount. Reduction of administrative staff, elimination of discipline problems, proprietary management of personnel, efficient use of resources, lessening of regulatory "red tape," and responsiveness to the needs of parents and to the demands of life are responsible for this difference in cost. Public schools don't have to do a good job to stay in business; private schools do.

At The Triplett School the maximum cost per year per child is affordable for most families -- and discounts for second and subsequent children from the same family reduce our overall per child expenditures to nearly $2500. Moreover, tuition support is available on a limited basis.

Although non-public schools charge you only if you enroll, state-run schools continue to charge you whether you want there services or not. This is immoral and counter-productive. *

How to enroll

Before you can be considered for enrollment, you must visit the school to see clearly what we have to offer and to let us observe your child in our environment. Because we have a waiting list at some age levels, you should contact the school for an appointment.

* In all fifty states it is illegal not to support government schooling. On this relatively modern predicament Max Belz, a businessman in Iowa, says
"I don't want my children fed or clothed by the state,
but I would prefer that to their being educated by the state."
Born into and raised with this assault on the individual, the contemporary adult has been numbed to its injustice. If you would like to remove yourself from the "apathetic majority" we encourage you to do so by conversing with your acquaintances and contacting your elected representatives.
